Teresa E. "Patty" Mayle, 79, of Shinnston, died at 5:30AM on Monday, July 18, 2016 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV due to complications of emphysema and dementia.
She was born on August 20, 1936 in Rush Run, Jefferson County, Ohio. The daughter of Rufus Dayton and Elsie Viola (Ming) Fields of Rush Run, Ohio who preceded in death, also preceded her in death are two sisters and four brothers.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Lloyd W. Mayle, whom she married on August 24, 1952.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two children: son Richard L. "Duke" Mayle and wife Debbie Mayle, Her two granddaughters Kellie Mayle and Rebekkah Mayle of Wyatt.
A daughter Teresa "Terri" Mayle, Her grandson Brandon Lewis and granddaughter Grace Mayle of Shinnston.
Preceding her in death is son Robert W. "Joe" Mayle, Surviving grandsons: Justin and wife Stephanie Mayle of Shinnston, Lucas Mayle of Pine Bluff and Dylan Mayle and wife Kourtni of Clarksburg.
Teresa also has four great-grandchildren: Hayden Mayle, Kayson Mayle, Aubrey Jo Heston, and Rylan Mayle.
Teresa was Methodist by faith. She worked for McCroy's at Middletown Mall through the 1970's. Her hobbies included crafts such as Crochet and Plastic Canvas Crafts. She loved her cat "KiKi". She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Public Viewing will be 10:00Am - 12:00PM with Funeral services starting at 12:00PM with Rev.
