Ruby Norene Newbrough, 79, of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 3, 1937 in Clarksburg, A daughter of the late Emmett Baker and Armenia Swiger Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Newbrough.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen Hartley and husband Gary of Bridgeport. Daughter Joy Wolford and husband Rick of Rosemont, WV. Grandchildren: Stacy Freeman and wife Joanie of Lumberport, Sara Hartley Mike and husband Jason of Bridgeport, Adam Hartley of Bridgeport. Great Grandchildren: Austin, Gauge, and Isaiah Freeman, Lilly and Addison Mike all from Bridgeport. Her brother Gene Baker of Philippi and Many Nieces and Nephews.
Also Preceding her in death are her brother Doyle Baker and her sister Verma Zitella
Mrs. Newbrough was a member of Pleasant Ave. Church of Christ Shinnston and was a member of T.O.P.S. She was a Homemaker And enjoyed Being with her family and furbabies.
Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston from 2-8 PM Thursday. A funeral will be held at Harmer Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2017 with Evangelist Edward Partain Officiating. Interment will follow at the Newbrough Cemetery on O’Dell’s Knob.
