Carla Diane (Cunningham) Cottrill 59, of Clarksburg, passed away on May 1, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Carla was born on July 2, 1958 in Clarksburg, a daughter of Virginia R. Cunningham, and the late Carl H. Cunningham.
She is survived by her sister Darla L. Berry of Clarksburg, her nieces Courtney Poole and her husband Danny Poole Jr. of Fairmont, Brittany Smith and her fiancée David Henderson of Weston, Great nieces and nephews Carlie Saunders, Aidan Saunders, Eliga Saunders, Gage Saunders all of Fairmont, and Christian Smith and Kali Henderson of Weston, WV.
Carla received a bachelor’s degree in fashion design, and was employed by Maplewood Retirement Village and Salem International University. She was a member of the Clarksburg Baptist church, Sardis CEOS, and WV Baptist Women’s Ministry.
Carla also enjoyed crocheting, and spoiling her great nieces and nephews, and was an avid WVU fan.
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home in Shinnston on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Jacqueline Chambers officiating.
