Obituary for Carol Francis McGinnis (Wagner)

Carol F. McGinnis (nee Wagner), was born on March 8, 1935 to the late Charles and Floa (nee Shomo) Wagner of Shinnston, West Virginia departed peacefully at her Bethel, Ohio home on March 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Woodrow Wayne McGinnis and son, Jeff W. (Christy Schlenk) McGinnis. Siblings, Lucille (Frank) Bowers, Roy, Robert, Jerl (Erma) Wagner of Lake Waynoka, Paul (Francie) and Russell Wagner of West Virgnia and the late Herman Wagner, Dorothy Everson and Louise Bartlett. 2 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Carol enjoyed her gardens of vegetables and flowers, yard saleing, auctions and bargain shopping. She worked hard on the families' farm, canning vegetables, feeding cows, raising tobacco and sewed many items. She will be greatly missed by all.

Friends and Family will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 17, 2017 at at Harmer Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Santee officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
